How to update from demo version to productive system?

After ordering you you will receive an email which you must reply to. In this email please give us the machinename of the Web-Frontend-Server the Taxonomy Extension has been installed to.

Afterwards (please allow us up to 1 business day) you will receive an email that contains the license information. This is an XML based text that looks like this:

<license><licenseid>99</licenseid><licensee>Your company name</licensee> <servername>Your server name</servername> <version>Basic</version> <issuer>name</issuer> <signature>41CB1CFF2802503FB52E760A80...</signature> </license>

Please paste this information into the configuration options of the Web Part follow these steps:

1. Go to Site "Categories" (Version 1.x.x.x) or Site "Taxonomy Administration" (Version 2.x.x.x)

2. Switch to page edit mode (Site Actions -> Edit Page)

3. Go to "edit" Mananement Center Web Part and select "Modify Shared Web Part"

4. Go to "Configuration" section of the Web Part and enter or paste the complete license information (XML text see above) into "License" field. Press "Apply" and close configuration dialog with "OK".

5. If licensing is correct the "Trial Version" information in Web Part will disappear.
